Listen to “Isabel Allende on Fiction and Feminism”

Podcast: HBR Ideacast

This is a frustratingly short interview and I was not planning to publish it here. But I love her books, and I kept thinking about some of her statements . Having someone taking care of your kids during the day so you can “get out and be in the world” is a perfectly understandable notion. That is simply the natural need of finding your individuality and identity in the midst of being a mother and a wife. Although, I believe each woman is different. It’s a matter of finding your flow. A stay-at-home mom of 4 can be as fulfilled and realized as a world-renowned book writer.
